More Opening up
Liaoning’s commodities have been exported to 214 countries and regions in the world. Total trade volume with countries along the “Belt and Road” has exceeded 1 trillion yuan. Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone has established 77,000 enterprises in total. 99 economic development zones at or above provincial level have been set up.
Liaoning’s opening up and vitality become greater.
Foreign trade leaps to a new level
The average annual growth rate of domestic capital actually in place is 12.4%. The introduced foreign capital accumulated 110.7 billion US dollars. A number of major projects such as BMW Brilliance were put into production. The accumulated registered capital of Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone exceeded 1 trillion yuan.
Remarkable achievements in targeted investment promotion
The Liaoning Investment Promotion Week has been held for 5 consecutive years. 305 projects were signed in two sessions of Liaoning International Fair For Investment And Trade with the total contract volume over 650 billion yuan.
The first half of this year saw the actual utilized foreign capital 4.49 billion US dollars with year-on-year growth rate 3.1 times, ranking the 7th in scale and 2nd in growth rate nationwide.
Initial results achieved in the implementation of RCEP
The Work Plan for High Quality Implementation of RCEP in Liaoning Province was formulated and issued. Liaoning RCEP comprehensive service platform was officially launched.
In the first half of this year, the import and export to RCEP countries arrived at 125.95 billion yuan. 5% year on year growth, 3 percentage points higher than the provincial average.
Free land-sea passage
2021 witnessed 632 trains of China Rail Express starting from Liaoning. The transportation volume ranked 1st in Northeast China and 7th in China. The number in the first half of this year was 421, a year-on-year growth of 47.2%.
Strengthening the platform and leading the opening up
13 reform and innovation examples from Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone are ready to be promoted nationwide among which 4 cases were selected as national “best practice”, ranking top in the country. The provincial government recommended 148 innovative experiences.
