Liaohe River, the mother river of the Liaoning people, is the largest river in the southern part of Northeast China and one of the seven largest rivers in the country. Looking from the top of Qixing Mountain in Shenyang, the Liaohe River winds its way through beach lands scattered along both sides. The bank enjoys charming scenery of wetlands with beautiful reflections of islands in the water and reeds covering the lands. As an important part of the wetland landscape, Qixing Wetland is full of vitality, reeds growing everywhere,water and islands reflecting each other,fish and poultry breeding in the water.
