Dragon and Lion Dance, as a traditional Chinese custom, is a way for people to celebrate festivals and pray for well-being and harvest. Dragon dance requires the performers in the costumes to follow the silk ball and present different postures like twisting, bending, and jumping. Lion dance needs two performers at the front and rear to collaborate. The inheritors of Dragon Dance, Benxi’s intangible cultural heritage, guided the students to experience Dragon and Lion Dance, providing them with opportunities to perceive the charm of traditional culture in person.
