The Shenyang Customs has released the latest figures indicating that the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenyang) has achieved a significant milestone by transporting a historic high of 303 varieties of export commodities. At present, the primary sources of the goods on the train are from the Three Northeastern Provinces (Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang), the Yangtze River Delta region, the Pearl River Delta region, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in China. These export commodities encompass a diverse range, including automotive components, mechanical equipment, electronic products, timber, and so forth.
Shenyang serves as a critical transportation hub that interconnects Russia, Mongolia, and various European countries, leveraging its unparalleled geographical advantage to facilitate the ever-growing diversity of commodities transported by the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenyang). To assist the block train in attracting more sources of commodities, the Shenyang Customs has implemented a series of supportive policies, empowering enterprises with the autonomy to select their customs clearance mode and port, thereby alleviating customs declaration frequencies. Additionally, to increase the efficiency of customs clearance for the block train, the Shenyang Customs has emphasized smart customs construction, upgrading its regulatory facilities with smart systems and automating vehicle transportation operations to minimize manual intervention. The Shenyang Customs has also strengthened its targeted on-site disposition measures, improved the inspection and disposition functions of logistics platforms in the bonded area, standardized the cargo entry inspection and disposition procedures, and achieved the digitization of cargo inspection and disposition.
