To vividly showcase the achievements of Liaoning’s Three-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs, and demonstrate the effectiveness of measures taken by the old industrial base in Northeast China in promoting the Chinese path to modernization through high-quality development, the Online International Communication Event “Daka China: Understanding the Chinese Path to Modernization (in Liaoning)” was recently launched in Shenyang.

The “Daka China” Online International Communication Event, themed “Understanding the Chinese Path to Modernization”, invites foreign online celebrities to visit cities in Liaoning to interpret the connotation and extension of the Chinese path to modernization from an “external perspective”, and promote interaction, communication, and cooperation between China and the world.

Since the beginning of this year, Liaoning has made remarkable achievements in economic development and cultural and sports endeavors. Through this online international communication event, Liaoning will publicize and showcase its new highlights, changes, and achievements, tell Liaoning’s stories, and convey Liaoning’s voice to the world. The first stop of the “Daka China” event was launched in Shenyang, and it will continue to conduct in-depth activities in Dalian, Benxi, and other places.

As the ninth modern metropolitan area approved by the state, Shenyang aims at the position of a national central city, focusing on “One Hub and Four Centers”, and makes every effort to build a new type of industrialization demonstration zone and a growth pole for the revitalization and development of Northeast China.

Dalian, with its obvious location advantages in opening up to the outside world, is located at an important node of the Belt and Road Initiative and serves as a leading and window-opening city for the Northeast region’s opening up to the outside world. Major national strategies, such as national-level new districts, pilot free trade zones, and independent innovation demonstration zones, have been implemented in Dalian.

The launch ceremony of the “Daka China” event was held at the Liaoning Provincial Museum, the first museum established after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, renowned for its abundant collections of cultural relics and high-level cultural relics. In recent years, the Liaoning Provincial Museum has launched phenomenally large exhibitions such as “Eight Great Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties” and “Harmonious China”, winning the National Top-Ten Museum Exhibition Awards twice and Excellent Museum Exhibition Awards twice, continuously promoting the Liaoning cultural brand and cultural image nationwide.

Representatives of online celebrities stated that Liaoning boasts beautiful natural scenery, charming landscapes, a long history and culture, strong industrial strength, and numerous “pillars of great power”. They hope that through this event, they can share their perception of Liaoning with everyone and help others understand and fall in love with Liaoning.

This event will organize domestic and foreign online celebrities and online media reporters to visit Shenyang, Dalian, Benxi, and other places, to explore cultural and museum venues, factory workshops, ports and wharves, and beautiful villages, and to gain an in-depth experience of Liaoning’s practice of the Chinese path to modernization.
