Recently, an acceptance team composed of representatives from the Liaoning Provincial Office for Port Service, Dandong Municipal Office for Port Service, Dalian Customs, Liaoning Maritime Safety Administration, and Liaoning General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, etc., has completed the acceptance of foreign-related berths South 1# and South 2# within the opened area of Dandong Port. The team agreed to formally open the berths for international operations.

The two berths that were approved for international use in this inspection are both 50,000-ton berths and are planned to be upgraded and renovated to 100,000-ton berths by the end of June. The completion acceptance of these two berths marks the beginning of the opening construction and acceptance of Dandong Port. This achievement reflects the optimization of the business environment at the port and plays a significant role in the development of an open economy in Dandong and even the eastern part of Northeast China.
