Red tourism is one of the highlights of cultural tourism in Liaoning, and an important cultural feature of the province. There are many red tourism routes in Liaoning, covering the 9·18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, the Liaoshen Campaign Memorial in Jinzhou, the Memorial Hall of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea in Dandong, the Lei Feng Memorial Hall in Fushun and the Tashan Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery in Huludao and other famous memorial halls. In addition, 10 distinctive and classic provincial red tourism routes and 54 exclusive routes are also being planned.
