In summer, a hundred mu (6.67 hectares) of Chinese herbaceous peonies in the Jinpu New Area of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, bloom one after another. Bunches of red, pink and white flowers compete with each other, like colourful decorations among the green foliage. When the breeze blows, the fragrance of flowers and the scent of earth spread all around, refreshing people’s minds. Blooms of charming flowers are worth appreciating.
