Sujiatun District of Shenyang Hosts the 1st Cold Noodle Festival: 200,000 Yuan Worth of Vouchers Await You!

Featuring the foodie check-in map, cultural and creative souvenirs, promotions by 22 catering companies, and the distribution of 200,000 yuan worth of vouchers in four installments, the first “Cold Noodle Festival” with the theme “A Bowl of Cold Noodles, A Savor of Cool Summer” is being held in Sujiatun District, Shenyang, from June 30 to July 30, 2023.

To cultivate a vibrant festival ambiance for the “Cold Noodle Festival” in Sujiatun District, a series of measures are implemented. These include organizing a captivating opening ceremony infused with unique Korean elements, providing restaurant owners with unified exhibition stands, banners, and aprons, as well as crafting promotional posters and cultural and creative souvenirs exclusively for this grand occasion. Furthermore, to achieve seamless integration between offline and online platforms, promotional videos highlighting the “Cold Noodle Festival” are produced, accompanied by the creation of the foodie check-in map and the invitation of influential online personalities to partake in video promotions. Through these efforts, the festival aims to showcase in full splendor the distinctive essence of Sujiatun’s cold noodles.

Renowned cold noodle restaurants in Sujiatun District like Hanmai, Laohuangniu, and Xiandai are hosting interactive activities such as the lucky wheel, complimentary dishes, and discount promotions to attract customers and enhance their dining experience.

In this festival, it is noteworthy that dedicated vouchers worth 200,000 yuan are distributed in four installments of 50,000 yuan each starting at 10:00 on June 30, July 7, July 14, and July 21. The voucher denominations are set at a 30 yuan discount for spending over 100 yuan and a 20 yuan discount for spending over 60 yuan. Each consumer is limited to receiving and using one voucher per denomination in each distribution period.

This festival takes fostering consumer hotspots as its main focus, leveraging the distribution of dedicated vouchers to drive the larger consumer market and stimulate its potential. With a holistic approach blending online and offline elements, the festival aims to extensively showcase and promote the craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and distinctive flavors of Sujiatun’s cold noodles.
