On July 20, Liaoning held a high-level conference themed around opening up to the world, the Opening-up Conference of Liaoning Province. The conference covers the province’s opening-up efforts in all sectors and is attended by government departments, key enterprises involved in opening up, foreign key business associations, and non-local business associations in Liaoning. The primary objectives are to summarize and analyze Liaoning’s progress in opening up, identify problems and shortcomings, arrange and deploy the next phase of work, and showcase Liaoning’s new image of opening up. In recent years, Liaoning’s opening-up efforts have achieved solid results, with cumulative trade volume between Liaoning and countries along the Belt and Road exceeding 1 trillion yuan, and exports reaching 214 countries and regions worldwide. Additionally, Liaoning has attracted over 110 billion U.S. dollars in foreign investment, and the construction of the Great Sea-Land Corridor in Northeast China is being accelerated. The influence of platforms such as the Liaoning International Fair of Investment and Trade has also been increasing. Liaoning will take more favorable measures to deepen, consolidate, and enhance its opening-up efforts, and promote comprehensive revitalization to achieve new breakthroughs in future.
