On August 12, the opening ceremony of the 9th PEACE CUP International Juvenile Football Tournament took place in Shenyang. With the participation of 308 teams, including over 5,000 players and coaches from all around the world, the tournament promises to deliver over 1,000 captivating matches over the course of seven days.

The PEACE CUP International Juvenile Football Tournament, an internationally renowned sporting event initiated by Shenyang, has been successfully held for 8 sessions since its inception in 2015. With participating teams from 21 countries across five continents and over 20 provinces within China, the tournament has, to date, welcomed an aggregate of 13,000 young athletes to Shenyang. The city has become a shared stage for these young enthusiasts to express and celebrate their mutual love for football.

The 9th PEACE CUP Tournament is scheduled from August 12 to August 18 at the Shenyang Peace Cup International Football Park. During the event, fan service stations are set up within the park, offering players and spectators city tourism maps and match guides. In the vicinity of the park, a market for cultural and creative products is established to provide an array of “Peace Cup” themed merchandise. Meanwhile, the participating teams are invited to enjoy the scenic beauty of Shenyang, savor the flavors of Liaoning cuisine, and experience the local traditional culture, thus further showcasing the tournament’s humanistic charm.
