Recently, the 21st China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition was held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, attracting many esteemed equipment manufacturing companies from all around the world to participant.

At the exposition, Konstantin Novoselov, Nobel Prize laureate in Physics, said: “Actually I’ve been coming to Shenyang for many times before. So I do have very good friends and very good collaborators here. I really hope that we can strengthen our cooperation in the future. I think Liaoning got everything what is required: the huge talent base, good students, very motivated researchers, and very educated engineers.”

Henry H. Radamson, Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, said: “We are working on optoelectronics. It is a very important subject which is a combination of electronics and photonics together. This type of science is growing very fast and conquers many applications in future, especially in aerospace. Shenyang is very beautiful, and the people here are very kind.”

Paulo Lopes, head of the China Region for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) said: “This summit is tremendous, attracting companies not just from Liaoning but from all around the world, so it’s very exciting to be here. We see a great development of industry especially around equipment and this is at a very high demand globally.”
