On September 25th, at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, the Chinese team consisting of Chen Yunxia, Zhang Ling, Lv Yang, and Cui Xiaotong clinched the gold medal in the finals of the women’s quadruple sculls event. This victory marks the second gold medal won by Liaoning athletes in the 19th Asian Games.

Leading the team as the stroke, Cui Xiaotong, the Liaoning athlete, along with her three teammates, delivered a spectacular performance that left the audience in awe with their commanding lead throughout the race.

Cui Xiaotong began her journey in rowing in 2007 at Dandong Maritime Sports School, where her remarkable skills made her stand out from her peers. She then became a key player in the national team. At the 32nd Summer Olympic Games, Cui collaborated with her teammates to seize the gold medal in the women’s quadruple sculls event.
