On September 25, during “The 4th Liaoning International Fair of Investment and Trade”, the (LIAONING) CHINA-MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held in Shenyang. Government officials and business community delegates from Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Kuwait attended the conference together with representatives from Liaoning enterprises.

This conference aimed at organizing on-site exchanges and negotiations between entrepreneurs from Liaoning and the Middle East. It facilitated an accurate match in accordance with the industry and demand of both parties’ enterprises. For years, Liaoning Province has attached great importance to promoting friendly economic and trade exchanges with countries in the Middle East, which has brought forth new achievements in many fields of cooperation. Among them, the Huajin Aramco Fine Chemicals and Raw Materials Project has progressed smoothly, which can serve as a model project for operation between China and Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed Hussain Al-Huraiti, the chairman of the Joint Ministerial Committee of Kuwait, said that Kuwait was rich in petroleum resources while Liaoning’s petrochemical industry was large in scale and solid in industrial foundation. Moreover, the two parties had a solid foundation for cooperation. This conference created more opportunities for both parties to deepen cooperation and widen the scope of cooperation in the future.
