Recently, Dalian World Musical Culture Museum signed agreements with two cultural and museum institutions of Russia to initiate collaboration.
In Moscow, Dalian World Musical Culture Museum and Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory signed the International Museum-Conservatory Collaboration Agreement, agreeing to engage in in-depth collaboration in areas such as musical culture, academic research, student cultivation, and music industry studies. In 2024, experts from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory will visit Dalian, and in collaboration with the Dalian World Musical Culture Museum, they will jointly organize events such as the “Russian Musical Culture Week” and “Special Performances of Russian Musical Culture” at the museum.
Dalian World Musical Culture Museum also signed the International Inter-Museum Collaboration Agreement with Russian National Museum of Music. The two museums will engage in multiple collaborative efforts in areas such as museum collections, displays, reciprocal visits, and exchange exhibitions, to strengthen cross-cultural exchanges and make musical culture more accessible to the public.
As a thematic museum integrating Eastern and Western musical cultures, Dalian World Musical Culture Museum houses nearly 12,000 sets of precious musical instruments and musical art treasures, along with over 300,000 classical music records. Among them, there are more than 800 representative artifacts of global music culture.
