The English musical Love Never Dies was staged on December 2 and 3 at the Shengjing Grand Theatre in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The show was created by the world-renowned musical dramatist Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards.

In 2010, Love Never Dies opened its world premiere in London’s West End, and now has been translated into 15 languages and performed in more than twenty countries. This is the first time that Love Never Dies comes to China for a tour, and this year's tour plan for the show includes only one city, Shenyang, in the three northeastern provinces.

Featuring the fantastic prismatic jungle, the magnificent carousel, the classical study, and the elegant theater, the stage scene is beautiful and dazzling.

This musical possesses a delicate and gorgeous structure. It not only inherits the tenderness of Weber’s “Phantom” series, but also introduces rock and other diversified musical styles, showing the charm of music. A multinational band of musicians plays a variety of music, from magnificent orchestral music to powerful pop rock, according to the development of the plot.

“Christine” is an important role that can be called a “touchstone” for an actor, and she is played by the famous actress Manon Taris from France, who has successfully portrayed this classic role with her heavenly voice and superb acting skills.

Before the official performance, the original English musical Love Never Dies Shenyang fan meeting was held in Shengjing Grand Theatre. The cast shared with the audience the anecdotes of this work in front of and behind the scene. Luke McCall, who plays the “Phantom”, shared his favorite song in the show, Till I Hear You Sing, and how to maintain a perfect state during the tour.
