Chilly days could not hold back the passion of Liaoning musical fans. Recently, the British musical Love Never Dies has toured to Shenyang, Liaoning. Its beautiful singing, superb performance, exquisite stage setting and romantic style deeply attracted the musical fans in Liaoning.

Before heading for Liaoning, the musical actors had heard that Shenyang is a city with a long history and profound cultural heritage. After arriving in Shenyang, they made a unanimous decision before the performance: to learn about Shenyang through city walk.  

Through city walk in Shenyang Imperial Palace, the actors visited palaces and pavilions, tasted cultural creative ice-cream, and watched traditional Peking Opera.

Through city walk in Zhongjie Street, the actors wore Manchu costumes to take photos and learn about Shenyang’s customs.

Through city walk in restaurants serving Northeast Chinese cuisines, the actors enjoyed Chinese pastry and tanghulu（candied fruit on a stick）, learned tea ceremony, signed autograph and took group photo with local diners.

Through city walk in teahouses in the alley, the actors watched the traditional Chinese magic performance, and tried crosstalk in long robes on the stage.

As a new way for immersive experience of Shenyang’s cultural atmosphere and new scene of cultural tourism, city walk left British actors with a deep impression on Shenyang: “Shenyang is not only a historic city, but also an international city with profound cultural atmosphere and urban vitality. I will definitely recommend Shenyang to my friends when I return home.”
