The Thailand 2023 World Stamp Championship Exhibition (hereinafter called “Thailand 2023 WSC Exhibition”), which has drawn much attention from international philatelists, recently held an award banquet in Bangkok. Zhao Zhongwei, a philatelist from Shenyang, made an eight-frame thematic collection named From Cradle to Kindergarten, winning the Large Vermeil Medal with 87 points. Xu Zhaobin, a philatelist from Dalian, gained 80 points for his five-frame thematic collection called Bees, which was awarded the Vermeil Medal.

The second issue of Liaoning Today in 2023 was shown in the exhibition, attracting philatelists across the world with its theme of “Discovering Liaoning in the Stamps”. Liaoning Today carries the enthusiasm and ideal of all stamp lovers in Liaoning, fully demonstrating the vitality of Liaoning’s philatelic industry and the revitalization and development in all respects of Liaoning.

Colin Fraser, an American stamp collector, said he had participated in WSC held in Beijing (1999), Luoyang (2009), and Wuhan (2019). “Liaoning Today is printed nicely, drawing my interest in Liaoning,” he said, “I am looking forward to meeting and communicating with stamp lovers in Liaoning.”
