On December 22, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held a press conference to introduce the efforts of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in serving the overall development of the country and contributing to the Three-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs.

Since the beginning of this year, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC has been fully committed to implementing the Three-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs, focusing on 10 aspects and effectively carrying out 50 key tasks to ensure a flying start. To support the implementation of the plan, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC has devised an implementation scheme to support the Three-Year Action Plan and promoted the orderly conduct of government consultations, democratic supervision, investigations, and proposal submissions to build consensus. Through high-level execution of duties, they aim to facilitate high-quality development.

To achieve a good start in implementing the Three-Year Action Plan, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC has identified 15 topics on which they will conduct democratic supervision for three consecutive years. This year, 11 of these projects have been initiated, including the improvement of the policy system for elderly care services, wind and sand prevention as well as soil conservation in northwest Liaoning, and the empowerment of cultural tourism projects related to the “Six Red Landmarks” of Liaoning—the starting place of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the turning point of the War of Liberation, the birthplace of the national anthem of the People’s Republic of China, the place where the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army set out to fight in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the foundation of the industrialization of the People’s Republic of China, and the birthplace of the Spirit of Lei Feng. This initiative aims to promote improvements in the relevant government departments’ work.

To better disseminate the story of Liaoning and showcase the positive development of the province, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC has organized its members to produce visually appealing and influential short videos. These videos focus on small topics that are highly relevant to the public, people’s lives, and the characteristics of the CPPCC. In addition, an innovative initiative called “Beautiful China, Graceful Liaoning—Snapshots by CPPCC Provincial Committee Members” has been introduced. This initiative involves the collection and selection of photographs taken by CPPCC members at various levels. Through this distinctive approach, the activity reflects the new developments and achievements of the Three-Year Action Plan.

Furthermore, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC has leveraged the “Global Liaoning People” platform to strengthen connections with members from Hong Kong and Macao, and specially invited attendees and actively publicized the policies and measures of the Three-Year Action Plan. A series of events were successfully hosted, such as “Prominent Figures from Hong Kong and Macao, and Representatives of Overseas Chinese Witnessing Liaoning’s Development” and the “Liaoning-Hong Kong Youth Working Hand in Hand for a Bright Future” summer camp. They have also presented the current situation and achievements of revitalization to the Research Delegation of CPPCC Overseas Attendees Supporting Liaoning’s Comprehensive Revitalization. All these efforts have further accelerated the momentum for Liaoning’s revitalization.
