The Yalu River has witnessed the first rime landscape this winter in Dandong City, Liaoning Province. The mist rises from the Yalu River and later solidifies into the rime. It enjoys poetic beauty, as the famous Tang poetry goes “like a spring gale comes up in the night, blowing open the petals of ten thousand pear trees”. In the Yalu River Park, all plants are covered with thick snow, turning the whole place into a fairyland.
