Liaoyang, known as Xiangping in ancient times, has a history of more than 2,000 years. There are famous tomb murals of Han and Wei dynasties, more than 300 years earlier than Dunhuang frescoes. In 1625, Nurhachi（Emperor Taizu of the Qing Dynasty） made the decision to relocate the capital from Liaoyang to Shenyang. The bricks of the Liaoyang palace wall were removed to Shenyang, leaving only the base of Tianyoumen and the rammed earth of the wall in Liaoyang to this day.

At Tianyoumen, there is such a magical place that allows you to feel its history and at the same time have fun in Liaoyang’s freezing weather - the Tianyoumenqian Ice and Snow World.

The over 100-meter-long slide is what you must enjoy here. Bend your legs and sit on the skateboard, grab the rope with both hands, tighten your arms, slide down the slope, and then enjoy the thrill! The skateboard and snow will have a strong friction. However, with gravity, the snow surface will let you freely and smoothly slide down the slope.

Standing at the highest point of the slide, you can also overlook the gatetower of Tianyoumen, which can suddenly bring you back to ancient times while you are playing around. You will be amazed at the greatness of history. Tianyoumen stands there firmly after experiencing all the vicissitudes, still witnessing the profound history of Liaoyang.
