The “ZHE HAI 363” cargo ship, currently docked at Berth No. 203 in Jinzhou Port, is loading 53,000 tons of corn. It will embark on a journey to Guangzhou, sailing across the sea to fulfill its mission of transporting bulk grain from North China to the South.

It is reported that this year, Jinzhou Port has signed cooperation agreements with 17 port storage facilities, expanding its grain storage capacity by approximately 1.5 million tons. This expansion aims to prevent storage capacity shortage during peak periods of grain collection at the port.

Liaoning is the largest transit province for grain circulation in China. Jinzhou Port, as the main seaport for transporting grain from Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and east Inner Mongolia to South China, plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of the bulk grain from North China to the South maritime channel. The transportation of bulk grain from North China to the South from Jinzhou Port has a history of 34 years since its inception in 1990. According to statistics, Jinzhou Port currently has a usable storage capacity of 3 million tons, including 1 million tons within the port and 2 million tons outside the port. The construction of the first phase of a 150,000-ton grain logistics project within the port is currently underway. This year, Jinzhou Port will continue to improve the quality management of grain operations, reduce transit losses, prioritize safety production, strengthen equipment safety management, and ensure smooth and efficient equipment operation.
