As the Lantern Festival approaches, a boisterous folk custom activity has been held in Dawa District of Panjin City. At the site, the waved loong was mighty and overwhelming, while the yangko dance was lively and jubilant. The performances such as loong and lion dances, and Shangkouzi stilt-walking, which are on the municipal-level and national intangible cultural heritage protection lists respectively, presented not only the unique charm of traditional Chinese folk culture but also the aspiration of the Chinese people for a better life in the new era.
