The debut of Xinchenjun (meaning the new Dragon King of the Eastern Sea in Chinese) - “Ao Bao”, took place on Xiongdong Street in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Standing at 3.9 meters tall and weighing 1.8 tons, the dragon-king-shaped exoskeleton robot instantly became a crowd favorite. Crafted by Xiao Di, an installation artist and the founder of Dalian Betop Culture Technology Co., Ltd., “Ao Bao” boasts a fierce appearance and interactive capabilities. Visitors were delighted as it sprayed mist, blinked, raised eyebrows, and engaged in “conversations” with them. The highlight of the event was the joint performance of “Ao Bao” and “Giant Bear Beibei”. The combination of sound, light, and electricity created a mesmerizing spectacle, with snowflakes fluttering in the air. This dynamic display showcased the seamless integration of art and technology, delivering a visual feast to the audience.
