The wetland along the coast of the Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf of China is an important stopover site for migratory water birds on the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, which makes Liaoning one of the non-negligible bird-watching destinations in the world. Migratory birds, such as red-crowned cranes, oriental white storks, swans, wild geese, and black-billed gulls, flock to Liaoning during the autumn and winter seasons, creating a spectacular scene. Especially in winter, when water birds are playing and singing on the frozen sea, the wonderful scenery always attracts numerous tourists every day.
