As the earth awakes from its slumber, the air becomes warmer and the icy river gradually melts. For several days, hundreds of birds such as ruddy shelducks have been playing, foraging, and hovering above the river course near the Qinghe Reservoir in Tieling City, Liaoning Province, giving forth a scent of spring. On both sides of the river, willow trees sprout green leaves, the reeds bend and sway in the wind, and wild ducks fly across the clear blue sky. All these create a picturesque scenery of the peaceful coexistence between humans and nature.
