Two elegant black-faced spoonbills are foraging in the shallows of Zhuanghe River of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, with their plumage shimmering in the sunlight. Zhuanghe has transformed into a bird paradise, attracting hundreds of egrets and herons. They come to the river to forage during the day and return to the surrounding mountains to rest at night.
