Chaoyang Bird Fossil National Geopark is located in Longcheng District, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, which is an archaeological site theme park built at the original place of the excavated fossils. The park boasts the world’s largest ex-situ protected wood fossil forest, the world’s largest Mesozoic Era geological corridor, and the largest paleontological fossil museum in China.
