The theme for the international student group was “My View on China”. Thirty international students from universities in Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces freely shared their studying experiences in China, narrating their stories with Liaoning and other regions in Northeast China. These students, hailing from the United States, Hungary, Chad, Tajikistan, Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries, delivered eloquent and expressive speeches. Some of them have become doctors who heal the wounded and rescue the dying in Liaoning; some are studying at Confucius Institutes, engaging in intellectual dialogue with the great thinker Confucius through books. Some have conducted field research and were astounded by the sandstorm control achievements in Zhangwu county, Fuxin city, Liaoning province. Some were amazed by the initiative of “Providing Services during Spring Festival” in Xita district in Shenyang city, and actively promoted Shenyang’s cultural tourism resources on social media. And some have visited major museums across Liaoning and were impressed by the indomitable spirit displayed at the China Industrial Museum... These vivid stories have made this competition an important communication platform for both China and the world, adding momentum and vitality to expanding the influence and popularity of “International Liaoning”.
