Recently, hosted by the Liaoning Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the International Federation of Photographic Art, and organized by the Liaoning Photographers Association, Liaoning Photography Art Exhibition themed by “Charming Liaoning in Light and Shadow” was opened at the Florence Cultural Center in Italy. Over 80 guests from China and Italy attended the opening ceremony.

As two great civilized nations of the East and the West, China and Italy both boast profound histories and splendid cultures. For a long time, the two countries have continuously deepened their cultural exchanges, particularly in the field of arts, and made remarkable achievements. This exhibition featured nearly 50 outstanding photographic works that reflected Liaoning’s social humanity, economic development, natural scenery and other aspects. Through the art of light and shadow, Liaoning’s magnificent scenes of development and construction, vast and beautiful mountains and rivers, historic sites and scenic spots, and colorful maple forests and rice paddies have leaped to people’s eyes vividly. The exhibition showcased Liaoning’s charming natural beauty and profound cultural heritage to the Italian people, presenting the aspirations, creativity and development of the Liaoning people. It also built an art bridge of mutual understanding between these two nations, adding a splash of vibrant color to Sino-Italian cultural exchanges. Many Italian citizens visited and gave high praises to this exhibition.

During the opening ceremony, a promotional video of Liaoning Province was also displayed. It showcased the vigorous development of Liaoning’s economy and society, and earned rounds of applause from the audience on site.
