Recently, the first Dalian “Passion for Oyster” Winter Tourism Season was officially launched in Dalian, which is expected to last until March next year. In Dalian, oysters are called “Hailizi”, which are a special delicacy for the locals, and also seafood that they grow up on. Oysters can be bought in any Dalian’s open fair in autumn and winter. Dalian people’s accent is jokingly called “oyster flavor” due to their special preference for oysters.
