The themed IP images of Liaoning’s First Ocean Ice and Snow Festival have been officially announced, featuring two main parts: “Ocean Family” and “Pattern Family”. The “Ocean Family” includes a sea cucumber baby, a spotted seal, a white blood clam, a prawn, and a small dolphin, inspired by marine life species in the Bohai Bay. The “Pattern Family” features snowflakes and spindrifts, inspired by the seasonal characteristics of China’s northernmost sea. They are named after the homophony of “Jingxi Linghai Huanying Ni” in Chinese (which means “surprising Linghai welcomes you”) and are called “Jingjing, Xixi, Lingling, Haihai, Huanhuan, Yingying, and Nini”, representing the joy of Linghai people and enthusiasm of people participating in this festival.
