A remarkable natural phenomenon known as a “tidal tree” emerged as the temperature dropped at the Red Beach of Liaohe River Estuary. The frozen tidal creeks form branch-like “tidal trees”, resembling new “winter clothing” covering the river. From a bird’s-eye view, the river appears as an ice forest intricately laid upon the land of Panjin by nature, creating a stunning landscape.
