Liaoning’s inbound tourism has been booming during the 2025 Spring Festival holiday. The number of visa-free inbound tourists entering China via Liaoning ports increased by 280 percent compared to the same period last year. In addition, the number of inbound and outbound foreign tourists saw a 23 percent year-on-year increase. Notably, Shenyang and Dalian saw a year-on-year rise of 65 percent and 66 percent in inbound tourism, respectively.

The expanding list of countries eligible for visa-free entry has been drawing more international tourists to come and experience the Spring Festival in China. During the Spring Festival holiday, Liaoning has hosted a series of featured cultural events, showcasing its beautiful scenery, local delicacies and rich Chinese culture to tourists from home and abroad.
