The Liaohe River Estuary National Nature Reserve in Panjin City, Liaoning Province is alive with clear waters, and the reeds are beginning to regrow. After driving about two nautical miles from Sandaogou Fishing Port, the Western Pacific spotted seals can be seen on a tidal flat. They are either playing and foraging in the water or sunbathing on the shore.
