From January 24 to 26, a delegation from the French Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises visited Liaoning Province, and held intensive exchanges with representatives from relevant industries in the province on further expanding economic, trade, cultural and sports cooperation between Liaoning, China and France.

During their stay in Shenyang, the delegation participated in the Sino-French Enterprises B2B Business Matchmaking Conference. More than 40 French enterprises and over 100 Liaoning-based enterprises engaged in in-depth exchanges on equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, cultural tourism, and elderly health care, reaching multiple cooperation intentions on site. At the conference, the organizers also highlighted the “International Liaoning” project, and measures to facilitate services for foreign nationals in Liaoning. In addition, the delegation also visited the Shenyang Wu’ai Market to experience the commercial vibrancy of Liaoning firsthand.

At the China-France Ice and Snow Industry Forum, representatives from organizations such as the French National Union of Outdoor Sports Centers delved into deep discussions on topics including ice and snow venue operation, event services, and industry integration. Serge Koenig, President of Club Jorasses (France), praised Liaoning as a renowned ski resort in northern China, and expressed his anticipation for comprehensive sports cooperation between the two sides.

Emmanuel Loriot, French Consul General in Shenyang, stated that this was the second visit to Liaoning by a delegation from the French Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. In recent years, exchanges and cooperation between Liaoning, China and France in the economic and cultural fields have become increasingly frequent, and achieved fruitful results. He expressed appreciation for Liaoning’s abundant ice and snow resources, and hoped that the visiting French sports experts and organizations could carry out more cooperation with Liaoning in the field of ice and snow sports.
