Recently, flocks of mallards have been spotted seeking for food on the water, amusing with one another, and hovering together over the place near Damaike Wetland in Tai’an County, Anshan City, feasting our eyes on the very scene. Damaike Wetland, located in the middle of East Asia -Australia migratory route, is an important passage for birds migrating between south and north. After the Beginning of Spring with rising temperature, Grus japonensis, Grus grus, mallard, wild goose, Gallinula chloropus, and more migratory birds together fly to the Liaohe River basin and Damaike Wetland, either having a rest, swimming on the river, or flapping their wings to soar, forming dynamic and brilliant landscapes on blue and clear water.
