During the 2023 summer-autumn season (March 26 to October 28, 217 days in total), Shenyang Taoxian International Airport plans to operate 3,699 flights per week, with an average of 528 flights per day, which is consistent with the same period in 2022, and marks a 2.5% increase from the winter-spring season of 2022 and a 20.4% increase from the summer-autumn season of 2019. The earliest flight scheduled for departure is SC2320 (Shenyang-Taiyuan-Guiyang) at 06:25, and the latest flight scheduled for return is CZ6416 (Kunming-Xi’an-Shenyang) at 01:55.
Domestic flights continue to increase. In the new season, 31 airlines are scheduled to operate domestic flights at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, with 147 domestic routes connecting 88 cities. New routes to Tianjin, Zhoushan, Zunyi and other cities are planned to be resumed. During the new season, domestic routes to popular cities will be further optimized, such as the “Shen-Hu” (Shenyang to Shanghai), “Shen-Rong” (Shenyang to Chengdu), and “Shen-Qing” (Shenyang to Qingdao) air express routes, with daily average flights of 25, 15, and 10 respectively. The average daily flights from Shenyang to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi’an, Changsha, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, and Sanya are all more than 10.
International flights are quickly recovering. In the new season, China Southern, Spring Airlines, Korean Air, Scoot, and other airlines will resume and increase international and regional flights to Shenyang. It is planned to operate 5 international and regional routes, connecting 5 international and regional cities. During the new season, the Shenyang-Seoul route will be further resumed, increasing from the current 6 flights per week to 14 flights per week; the Shenyang-Tokyo route will have 1 flight per week, and the Shenyang-Osaka route will have 5 flights per week. The Shenyang-Hong Kong route will continue to operate 2 flights per week. Scoot’s Singapore route is scheduled to resume in May, and China Southern and Spring Airlines will also gradually resume and increase international routes to popular tourist cities.
