Liaoning enterprises are increasing their market competitiveness and creating new momentum for development.
On April 7, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held the sixteenth in a series of themed press conferences on “Implementing the Spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC — Carrying Out the Three-Year Action Plan for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs”. The journalist learns from it that this year, Liaoning’s state-owned and private enterprises, such as Liaoning Provincial Transportation Investment Group, Dalian Heavy Industry Equipment Group, Neusoft Corporation, and Wellhope Foods Co., Ltd., are all competing to develop and implement projects, while simultaneously expanding their market reach. Their efforts aim to promote the high-quality development of these enterprises.
In the next three years, the cumulative investment in infrastructure by Liaoning Provincial Transportation Investment Group will exceed 60 billion yuan. The Group will create four companies with a scale of over 500 million yuan each, and four new businesses with over 10 million yuan each in income, with assets totalling over 300 billion yuan and income exceeding 23 billion yuan. In 2023, the Group will accelerate the construction of the Shenyang-Shanhaiguan Expressway Expansion Project, safely and efficiently demolishing 43 flyovers along the expressway. The Group will also take coordinated steps to promote the constructions of the Benxi-Huanren and Suizhong-Lingyuan projects, and ensure that the Fuxin-Naimanqi Expressway and Xianren Island Port Logistics Expressway projects shall be completed and open to traffic by the end of the year, adding 60 kilometers of new expressways in Liaoning Province.
Dalian Heavy Industry Equipment Group will spare no efforts to achieve its three-year revenue-doubling strategic goal. This year, the Group will focus on future sustainable development. According to the principle of “intelligent, high-end and green” and at a high starting point, the Group will invest 4.2 billion yuan to implement five major technological upgrading and renovation projects, and achieve investment and construction effectiveness in the same year, with an annual increase of 5 billion yuan in revenue after reaching full production.

To boost the rural revitalization and development, promote the upgrading of traditional enterprise, and integrate itself into the co-construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, this year, Wellhope Foods Co., Ltd. will cooperate with international partners to strengthen the import business of feed raw materials, promote the import of palm kernel expeller from Indonesia, copra meal from the Philippines, sunflower seed meal from Russia, and other raw materials, to reduce the cost of raw materials and enhance the competitiveness of domestic factories.
