The first-phase of Dalian Suoyuwan Football Field Project, the first football field surrounded by sea on three sides in China, will be on the delivery.

Recently, the reporter has noticed that Suoyuwan Football Field near the Suoyuwan Bay in Dalian, is scheduled to be completed with the equipment debugging under way. It is estimated that the first-phase of the project will be on the delivery in mid April, and a series of test events are going to be held from May, in order to make preparations for hosting Chinese Super League in the latter half of the year.

It is known that Suoyuwan Football Field, surrounded by sea on west, south, and east, manifests Dalian’s enriching marine culture. The football field’s design concept of “surging forward with greater momentum and spiraling up with higher spirit” indicates Dalian’s city spirit of moving on and striving for higher aim with courage and perseverance and its flourishing football.

Suoyuwan Football Field covers an area of 136,000 square meters with 63,000 seats and 2 training courts on the east. Moreover, the rampway for jogging surrounding the field, with the total length of 2.2 kilometers, leads to the viewing platform at top.

When the field is put to use, it will take the goal of “building model in sports industry and the well-known sports brand image of Suoyuwan”. In line with urban development strategies, high-quality industrial service institutions will be ushered in to build sports business complex integrating fitness, leisure, entertainment, and catering, so as to cultivate Suoyuwan Football Field into the most special icon of sports culture in Liaoning.
