On April 10, the 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, opened grandly in Haikou City, and will last for six days. Over 70 well-known enterprises from Liaoning exhibit more than 100 brands of consumer products. Besides, Liaoning sets up an 800-square-meter special exhibition area in the exhibition hall, which ranks first among all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China in terms of the special area.
This year’s CICPE aims to “enhance its influence and promote its international presence offline”. Compared to the previous two CICPEs, there has been a significant increase in core indicators such as the number of participating countries, brands, and buyers. The total exhibition area reaches 120,000 square meters, a 20% increase from last year. More than 3,300 premium consumer brands from 65 countries and regions are on exhibition, and it is expected that there will be over 50,000 buyers and professional visitors, with over 300,000 attendees in total.
At the exhibition site, the Liaoning exhibition area with the theme of “New Vitality for Brand Development and New Life of Quality Consumption” has a rich variety of exhibits and attracts many visitors. The exhibition area consists of six major concept zones: Intelligent Innovation, Ethnic Culture, Exquisite Life, Craftsmanship, Liaoning Cuisine, and Fashionable Drinks. The style highlights the fusion of technology and fashion, tradition and classic.
It is reported that through extensive mobilization, Liaoning has selected a batch of over 100 high-quality products, including time-honored brands, intelligent equipment, intangible cultural heritage, and green agricultural products, from more than 100 enterprises across the province to showcase at the CICPE. These include not only manufacturing products such as auxiliary walking equipment from Siasun Robot and Automation Co., Ltd., Dongbei pianos from Yingkou, Peacock watches, and Ruiwoer garments from Dandong, but also delicacies such as pork backbones stewed with pickled Chinese cabbage and chicken stewed with mushroom from Dunguanjia, Shenyang, Dalian sea cucumbers, Panjin rice, and Jinzhou Baihe pickles. In addition, there are consumer products rooted in Liaoning’s traditional culture, such as Laolongkou liquor, Jingxing jade, Daguan ceramics, Xingjing qipao, and Yongling Liming Manchu paper-cutting.
It is known that during the CICPE, Liaoning will also hold activities such as the Liaoning-Jiangsu-Hainan New Drivers for Consumption and High-Quality Enterprise Matchmaking Conference, and the Shenyang International Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Meeting.
