Recently, at the “2023 National High-Quality Agricultural Products Expo (Shenzhen Venue)”, Dalian big cherries became the center of attention due to their obvious advantages in color, quality, and fruit weight. The cherries have successfully entered the market of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, achieving the coordination between production and sales.

This Expo attracted more than 600 brand enterprises from over 50 regions in more than 20 provinces (including municipalities), with over 50,000 visitors in attendance. With the theme of “Building Brands and Linking to the Greater Bay Area”, the Expo establishes a professional, market-oriented, and branded high-level exchanges and cooperation platform.

Dalian Modern Agricultural Production Development Service Center organized seven Dalian big cherry landmark enterprises to participate in the Expo. The cherry varieties on display include Meizao, Jiahong, Leini, and Russia No.8, all weighing an average of over 12 grams. Every day, Dalian big cherry booths attracted numerous visitors and buyers, who expressed that Dalian big cherries have obvious advantages over foreign cherries in terms of color, quality, and fruit weight.

During the Expo, three Dalian big cherry landmark enterprises, Weizhengxian (Dalian) Technology Co., Ltd., Dalian Guangtai Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and Dalian Pulandian Cherry Association, exhibited their Dalian big cherries and were granted the “Gold Award for National High-Quality Agricultural Products Expo” after evaluation by the expert group of the organizing committee. Besides, Dalian big cherry landmark enterprises connected with more than one hundred customers and secured orders for over half of them, covering such areas as e-commerce, supermarkets, and government procurement, successfully entering the market of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and effectively promoting the economic development of the Dalian big cherry industry.
