Every May, Fuzhoucheng Town, Wafangdian of Dalian City, Liaoning Province is blazoned with peach blossoms in full bloom. The 6th Fuzhou Peach Blossom Festival Culture Week is coming from April 29 to May 5 as expected.

Fuzhou, founded in the Liao Dynasty, is a renowned historical and cultural town. Numerous historical and cultural sites, like Yongfeng Tower of the Liao Dynasty, Hengshan Academy of the Qing Dynasty and government offices of different dynasties can all be found here. Intangible cultural heritages like Fuzhou Shadow Puppetry, Fuzhou Northeast Drum are also famous here.

A series of cultural events will be rolled out during the Cultural Week. Visitors will have access to peach blossoms, historical and cultural relics, intangible cultural heritage performances, Fuzhou traditional cuisines and ancient sages and heroes in this century-old town, experiencing the long-existed history and civilization.

The Fuzhou Peach Blossom Festival Cultural Week has turned from “one-day tour” to “several-day tour”, serving as a famous brand for local tourism promotion and cultural exchanges.
