On June 8, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held the second press conference of a thematic series titled “Building a First-Class Business Environment”. The conference provided an overview of the measures taken by Liaoning this year to strengthen the construction of a credible government and to develop initiatives such as “Credit Liaoning”.

In recent years, Liaoning has made significant breakthroughs in the areas of credit legislation, government integrity, credit platform construction, and credit applications, all of which are crucial to the foundation of credit and have received high social attention. The credit work in Liaoning ranks among the top in China.

So far, Liaoning Province has made significant progress in the development of a credit-based system, with three local credit regulations already in place. The regulations have established a credit reward and punishment mechanism that ensures law-abiding citizens are not disturbed while violators of laws and credit are held accountable. Furthermore, the emerging regulatory system based on credit has been preliminarily established, providing a legal guarantee for the high-level advancement of “Credit Liaoning”.

Liaoning has taken the lead in establishing an online public credit information collection and sharing platform in China. Particularly in recent years, Liaoning has comprehensively elevated the service level and security capabilities of its credit platform and website through further upgrading and transformation. Up to this point, the total amount of public credit information collected in Liaoning has reached 2.44 billion, with more than 30,000 queries and interface calls for credit information completed through the platform. Additionally, the public has conducted nearly 300,000 searches via the Credit China (Liaoning) website.

For five consecutive years, Liaoning has launched special campaigns to rectify government administration dishonesty, establishing a favorable image that is fair, impartial, and trustworthy, creating a sound environment for economic and social development. According to these endeavors, “Credit Liaoning” has achieved new milestones in building a credible government.

In the next phase, Liaoning will further intensify its efforts and implement the new management model of “credit + industry supervision”. Additionally, the government will explore innovative approaches and methods to facilitate the construction of “Credit Liaoning”, advance the high-quality development of the social credit system, and promote the continuous optimization of the business environment.
