On June 13, the Information Office of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government held the third press conference of a thematic series titled “Building a First-Class Business Environment”. The conference presented an overview of the measures taken by Liaoning this year to strengthen the construction of a legal environment and promote strict, standardized, fair, and civilized law enforcement.
Since the beginning of this year, the judicial, procuratorial and public security departments at various levels in Liaoning have visited over 20,000 chambers of commerce and enterprises, held more than 1,900 entrepreneur symposiums, and collected and adopted more than 2,000 opinions and suggestions, effectively enhancing the pertinence and effectiveness of their work. The judicial administrative system has innovatively carried out order-based “rule of law check-ups”, accurately addressing the legal needs of enterprises, handling 120 appeals, and resolving 147 issues. The public security organs cracked 63 cases of intellectual property infringement, arrested 175 criminal suspects, and recovered more than 120 million yuan in total value. Liaoning’s “Online Service Center” has provided over 1.48 million services including inquiries, consultations, appointments, and applications while processing more than 306,000 public security approval businesses.
Meanwhile, Liaoning has continued to carry out evaluations of the construction of business environment ruled by law, comprehensively scoring the completion of 826 indicators in 14 cities and fully leveraging the guiding and incentivizing role of the evaluation “baton”.
In the future, Liaoning’s judicial, procuratorial and public security system will make greater efforts, take more practical measures, and impose stricter requirements to promote comprehensive revitalization and new breakthroughs in service guarantee, aiming to elevate its momentum, speed and efficiency. By leveraging the new achievements in modernizing political and legal work in the new era and new journey, the system will also work to ensure a good business environment, strong innovation capabilities, a favorable regional pattern, a beautiful ecological environment, vigorous vitality of openness, and a high level of happiness index, escorting the new ground of revitalization and development.
