The Black Rock Reef Park lies in the southwest of Liaoning Dalian, where black rocky reefs on the seashore were formed more than a billion years ago, creating a karst landscape of about 3 square kilometers. During high tide, the black rocky reefs either hide beneath the water or emerge from it mysteriously. When the tide recedes, they towers on the beach, and the rocky layers are like solid waves in a variety of forms. Some are as pagodas while others are as proud lions with heads high, and all of them look very spectacular.
