Recently, three performers from Liaoning Ballet returned triumphantly from Kazakhstan after participating in the Operalia International Arts Festival, demonstrating their excellence on the international stage once again.

The Operalia International Arts Festival, hailed as the “Oscars of Opera and Dance”, has been held annually in different cities around the world since its establishment in 1993, providing a stage for young artists worldwide to exchange dance experience. 

At this year’s festival, as the invited representative of Chinese artists, Zhang Haidong, the principal dancer of Liaoning Ballet, along with emerging dancers Sun Huixin and Zhang Youyi, delivered an impressive performance of the third act of the classical ballet Swan Lake and their original ballet piece Clouds and Wind. Their outstanding display showcased the diversity and innovation of Chinese ballet art, earning praise from both fellow artists and the audience at the scene.
