On June 20, the launching ceremony of the English edition of Pomegranate Flowers Bloom was held in Beijing, the original Chinese one of which was jointly published by Liaoning People’s Publishing House and Xinjiang People’s Publishing House.

The Chinese edition of Pomegranate Flowers Bloom was published in July, 2023. The author attempted to visit several counties or county-level cities in Tacheng Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and gathered plenty of vivid and lively stories. He wrote the stories of people of all ethnic groups being as dear to each other as a family, working together towards a better life, and guarding the borders and territory, unfolding the myriad scenes of great national unity.

The English edition of Pomegranate Flowers Bloom was published by New Classic Press of the UK in June, 2024, which presents a valuable attempt of Liaoning’s publishing industry in telling Chinese stories to the world.

Following the publication of the English edition, the Arabic edition of Pomegranate Flowers Bloom will also come out soon, continuing to tell the stories of China’s Xinjiang to the world, and let the world understand China.
