The 36th World Art History Conference recently took place in Lyon, France. This prestigious event, known as the “Olympics of art history”, has been held every four years since 1930. Over 1600 experts and scholars from more than 50 countries worldwide participated in this year’s conference.
Vice President Li Shuchun, along with teachers of Humanities College Jiao Lin and Li Xue from LuXun Academy of Fine Arts, were invited to attend the conference and deliver speeches. During the meeting, the academic team from LuXun Academy of Fine Arts discussed the research trends of world art history with Prof. Marzia Faietti, President of the International Society of Art History, and Prof. Eric de Chasey, Director of the French Center for Art History.
