Recently, the 1958 Science Park has been opened in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, a brand-new retro industrial-style leisure park based on the Chaoyang Pump Factory Historical and Cultural Block.

The former Chaoyang Pump Factory was established in 1958, a testament to the industrial development history of Chaoyang. As a comprehensive park integrating science popularization and on-site research, leisure and entertainment, and cultural inheritance, the 1958 Science Park covers a construction area of 14,800 square meters. Themed on “life being”, it has set up core areas such as disaster prevention and relief experience hall, sci-tech experience hall, central square, and commercial facilities.

In addition to providing regular exhibition hall services, the park will continue to plan and launch various park activities, including traditional festival activities such as a Spring Festival garden party, Duanwu Festival zongzi salon, Mid-Autumn Festival lantern show, as well as brand activities such as light and shadow art exhibitions, folk song competitions, and carnival markets.

Built on cultural immersion, scientific exploration, safety experience, and leisure living, the 1958 Science Park empowers an “old landmark” to transform into a “new name card” for the city’s new business forms and new lifestyles.
